Core Biophysics Modules
A comprehensive course organized into three modules. Prerequisites include two semesters of physical chemistry, an introductory course in biochemistry, and calculus though multivariate analysis, or permission of the instructor. Students may enroll in individual modules separately so as to accommodate individual needs and differences in training, but normally students in the Molecular and Cellular Biophysics Program will complete all three modules as a basic introductory course in structural biology. 650, 651, and 652 will all meet from 11:00-11:50 MWF in 3007 Genetics Medicine. After completing these modules, Program Trainees will satisfy the core requirement for the Biophysics Program by enrolling in any three of the Biochemistry/Biophysics Methods in Biophysics series.

BIOC 650:  Basic principles of Molecular Thermodynamics including Binding and Linkage

BIOC 651:  Macromolecular Interactions and Forces

BIOC 652:  Macromolecular Structure & Dynamics
