The Society’s Fellows Committee has named Dr. Gary Pielak a 2024 Fellow of the Biophysical Society for his scholarly and extensive biophysical studies on protein structure and dynamics, both in vitro and inside cells, with a particular emphasis on crowding. The recognition ceremony will be in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during the 68th Annual Meeting of the Society, February 10-14, 2024. Dr. Pielak, along with the other six Fellows in the 2024 class, are distinguished Society members who have demonstrated excellence in science and contributed to the success and vitality of the field of biophysics.
