Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR)
UNC has a vibrant community of researchers using NMR as a primary research tool. Areas of focus include protein and RNA dynamics, protein structure, protein folding and structure-function studies with proteins implicated in disease. The university maintains a NMR core facility available to all researchers on campus. Instrumentation includes 850, 700, 600 and 500 MHz spectrophotometers.
